The Old Mission Lighthouse at the top of the Old Mission Peninsula is a popular destination for those who love visiting different lighthouses and because it is a great place to watch a sunset or to watch the northern lights. Located less than thirty minutes north of Traverse City, the Old Mission peninsula is full of wineries and fruit stands, along with many other specialty places including a lavender farm, cherry orchards and more.

Want to take a hike? There are hiking trails surrounding the area around the Old Mission Lighthouse and there is plenty of area to explore in the woods as well as along the lakefront. Pets are welcome, so feel free to bring your furry companions.
